Roy, Andrée

The youngest of five children, Andrée Roy was born in Montreal in 1962. Early on, she demonstrated an interest in drawing, filling her schoolbooks with sketches and spending most of her free time painting and drawing. As a young adult, she pursues her artistic interests by studying Visual Arts, Fashion and Interior Design.

She builds a successful career as an Interior Designer and raises three children. Her passion for painting and drawing remains, and, for over a decade, she studies various painting techniques and mediums such as watercolour and oil.

It is important to mention that Roy’s paintings are not based on photographs, but inspired by
the artist’s memories, travels, a smile, an atmosphere.
